EXPERIENCE:
Ms. Calandra joined Harvey Kruse, P.C. in 2002. Specializing in defense litigation, Ms. Calandra has successfully represented and counseled corporate clients through all phases of litigation throughout the State of Michigan. Ms. Calandra specializes in a variety of litigation matters such as employment litigation, insurance defense, premises liability, and asbestos product liability defense.
She has assisted in obtaining successful summary judgments as well as secured nominal alternative dispute resolution awards and case evaluations in favor of insurance carriers in employment and insurance defense cases.
Ms. Calandra has also successfully argued motions and obtained favorable settlements on behalf of the firm’s numerous corporate clients in thousands of asbestos product liability and premise liability claims.
Ms. Calandra obtained her L.L.M in Labor and Employment Law at Wayne State University in May 2008. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001, where she was an Assistant Editor from 1999-2000 and a Managing Editor from 2000-2001 on the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. In addition, she was a recipient of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review Eugene Krasicky Award and Thomas M. Cooley Leadership Achievement Award in 2001. She is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
