EXPERIENCE:
Mr. LaVoy has experience litigating matters in Michigan state and federal courts in cases involving general tort liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage. This representation has resulted in dispositive relief and favorable settlements for his clients. Drawing on his experience as a law clerk on the Michigan Supreme Court, Mr. LaVoy has successfully represented clients in Michigan’s appellate courts, bringing an insider’s perspective to this unique area of legal practice.

Mr. LaVoy’s broad practice has also included ERISA litigation, post-arbitration disputes, and automobile warranty claims. Prior to joining Harvey Kruse, Mr. LaVoy worked for Hon. Richard F. Suhrheinrich at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and for the Michigan Attorney General’s office. Mr. LaVoy is a member of the Federalist Society and various bar associations.
