Harvey Kruse Welcomes Two Accomplished Attorneys to the Firm

Harvey Kruse, P.C., is pleased to announce that Rita M. Lauer and Tamara J. Phillips have joined the firm as Of Counsel in our Grand Blanc/Flint office.

Rita M. Lauer brings over thirty years of experience in employment law and complex litigation. Her practice covers employment-side representation, traditional labor law, and defending product manufacturers in warranty and consumer protection claims. Rita has effectively represented corporate clients in cases ranging from commercial lease disputes and shareholder disagreements to collective bargaining arbitrations and EEOC investigations. She is a trusted advisor on employment compliance, contract negotiations, and workplace policies. She graduated from Syracuse University College of Law and Central Michigan University.

Tamara J. Phillips joins the firm after a distinguished 28-year career with the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office, where she most recently served as Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Tammy brings extensive litigation experience, having tried numerous high-profile felony jury trials. She now concentrates her practice on law enforcement and municipal defense, labor relations, and training programs for businesses and government agencies. Tammy earned her J.D. cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and holds a B.A. in International Relations and French from Michigan State University’s James Madison College.
