Michael F. Schmidt Obtains Dismissal of Alleged Construction Defect Claim

Bitco General Insurance Corp as surbrogee of Cortis Trucking and Excavating v T&M Asphalt Paving, Inc., Oakland County Circuit Court, we represented T&M Asphalt Paving, Inc. in regard to the complaint that T&M improperly installed asphalt as part of a tennis court construction project at Great Oaks Country Club, claiming damages in excess of $100,000.  The claim against T&M was dismissed with prejudice after discovery established that T&M complied with all specifications for the project.
